Featuring  village musicians  with disco  ....  to find out  more and for the Box Office  click on the Hare.  There are also links to some vocals by Ami Kaelyn  a really good  folk rock singer, who is supported by village band Undone.  Also we have the the first live performance of Random Harvest ....  an exciting band  born out of the HarFest  .....

16 Jan 09 Hullavington WEa  course  Jihad or Crusade begins  in Hullavington Village Hall. on Thursday 7th Feb. at 10am.  This is a 7 week course. Course Tutor  is  John Rogan who was formerly a canon in the Church of England.  The history of the Crusades is fascinating and John brings it all to life. 21 Dec 08 Christmas Holiday Ramble.  SATURDAY 27th Dec.  Walk across the our local countryside to Grittleton. Everyone welcome including the dogs. For those not wishing to do the full 6 miles, you can pre-place a car at Grittleton and just do the morning or afternoon session. 18 Dec 08 Hullavington Footpaths.  Your help would be appreciated.  Parish Councillor Peter Mitchell   has recently taken over the role of Rights of Way  warden for the parish.  He would like you to keep him informed of any access  problems regarding  our parish footpaths, bridleways or byways  eg  blocked or damaged stiles, ploughed up footpaths, blocked footpaths,  footpaths not reinstated after ploughing, inadequately signed  footpath etc.  This is to assist the Highways Dept who will be conducting a survey of our footpaths and rights of way. in Nov 09.  Peter can be contacted on 838700 or on footpaths@hullavington.info

Due to Popular demand Tai Chi Fit is being replaced by Mat based Pilates to Start on January 9th from 11:15am -12:15am.
Please start booking your mats today!
Tai Chi Fit at Hullavington Village hall is no longer available due to lack of demand , however , thank you to all that has attended over the months and check out your nearest venue on my website for your alternative class.

Joy as long lost moggy returns home

Cat owner Tina Bennett says it feels like winning the pools after her missing moggy Max returned from a 17-week disappearing adventure.
Despite 11-year-old Max vanishing Mrs Bennett, who lives in Hullavington, said she always hoped he would come back.

Fire at Hullavington garage
By Lewis Cowen  Gazette & Herald 8:32am Thursday 27th November 2008 Fire crews from Malmesbury and Chippenham attended a fire in a domestic garage in Frog Lane, Hullavington, yesterday evening. The fire officers were called to the blaze at 6.40pm and used two hose reels to bring it under control.

Hullavington Film Club.  will be on Wednesday, 26 November in the village hall The film is  Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the latest sequel in the series. 21 Nov 08 Important Update on Sahara Trophy Event   There's   a new entrant for the Sahara Trophy. Keith Kalahari Collins  will attempt his dry   walk on Sunday Dec 7th. Message from our village correspondent Maggie Dyson  As you know I currently write the Hullavington Community News for the Gazette and Herald, and for the Standard  If you have any forthcoming events that you would like to publicise, please email me the information before Thursday Lunchtimes.  I will  normally then be able to include it for publication in the paper the following Thursday. Preferably I should like at least two weeks notice of weekend events.   .I also try to write a bit about events after they have happened, so again, any news would be welcomed.
19 Nov 08 The  Current WEa course running in the Village Hall (Periods & Pieces: Symphonic Music Through The ages) finishes this Thursday. It's been  successful with 16 people enrolled.  We have more courses planned, the next starts on Thursday 5th Feb (Crusade or Jihad) which promises to be very popular. Why not visit the Hullavington WEa webpage to see what's happening.  Also let us have your views on the subjects selected and  any ideas for additional subjects.   You would not be making a commitment, but just providing useful feedback for us
