Hullavington Music Festival 2006

Some of you may recall a mini music festival held in Hullavington where a wonderful range of local musical talent, including a young Jamie Cullum, performed in the village hall.  Well, ten years on Hullavington Church is planning a music festival for early September 2006.  The festival will showcase local musicians and a wide range of musical styles to suit all tastes.  The events will take place in a number of venues in the village and we know they will be both interesting and enjoyable.

We already have some exciting acts and performances pencilled into the diary and more details will be available soon.  We are planning to launch the Festival on the Saturday of the Village Show and events will take place over the following two weeks culminating in the Harvest Festival Service in church, harvest lunch and 'music on the lawn'.  There will be music from children, some young rock bands, recitals, popular and classical music, dance and music workshops, children's events and dancing!  Indeed something for everyone.
