Cream Teas at Holly House
Cream teas at Holly House are a
delightful precursor to the Harfest festivities. This year the
weather was kind, with only one brief shower, the event was well
attended and £200 was raised towards the Arts Festival.

Village of the Year
Competition
Hullavington is one of four villages
which have been short-listed for the final round in this year’s
competition to choose the village to represent Wiltshire in the
Calor Village of the Year Competition 2009. A team of five will make
a fifteen minute presentation, at the end of July, to convince the
judges that we are the village to go forward to the next round.
Village Voices
Sing for Water
West, at the end of June, involved many members of Village Voices
with other choirs to make a total of 642 singers and a fantastic
sound. Everything went like clockwork - the sun shone, the Matthew
sailed past and nobody fell in the harbour! There are video clips
and photos on
www.chris-samuel.co.uk which
give a real flavour of the day. To top it all, the group have
already made more than £20,000 for WaterAid. This season’s singing
concluded with 'The Barefoot Picnic' on Solsbury Hill involving
singing and walking too.
