Chinese Painting

WEA are holding a day school in Hullavington Village Hall on Saturday 4 April, entitled An Introductory Survey of Chinese Painting and Ceramics. It promises to reveal the achievements in these areas from 1000AD to the present, with a glance at calligraphy. The course tutor is Charles Tyzack. A packed hall demonstrated the continuing success of Hullavington Film Club’s Friday evening showing. The next film, a costume drama, will be shown on Wednesday 25 March. Sarah Harmer (01666) 837704 can give you the details.

Hullavington Ramblers Theatre Group

Hullavington Ramblers have catered for the more sedentary members of the community with a series of theatre groups which have been well attended this year. Two trips have been arranged to the Theatre Royal in Bath, to see “Lloyd George Knew My Father” and “Boing Boing”. The current series of theatre visits are fully booked, but let Bob Fenner know on (01666) 837320 if you would like to be on the mailing list for future trips.
