Hullavington’s Star
Inn is holding a series of Country Music events, and tonight there
is free entry to hear singer/songwriter Barney Newman making his
Hullavington debut in the function room at 8pm.
Chinese Painting
WEA are holding a day school
in Hullavington Village Hall on Saturday 4 April, entitled An
Introductory Survey of Chinese Painting and Ceramics. It promises to
reveal the achievements in these areas from 1000AD to the present,
with a glance at calligraphy. The course tutor is Charles Tyzack. It
is essential to book a place on this course at least two weeks
before the event, so contact David Bridges (01666) 502729 by
Saturday to reserve a place.
Film Club
A packed hall demonstrated
the continuing success of Hullavington Film Club’s Friday evening
showing. The next film, a costume drama, will be shown on Wednesday

Hullavington Ramblers
Theatre Group
Hullavington Ramblers have catered for the more
sedentary members of the community with a series of theatre groups
which have been well attended this year. Two trips have been
arranged to the Theatre Royal in Bath, to see “Lloyd George Knew My
Father” and “Boing Boing”. The current series of theatre visits are
