Film Club
Some fifteen people braved the crunchy
pavements and icy weather to attend a Friday showing of Les
Miserables at the Village Hall. A thriller will be shown on 25
February. Contact Sarah Harmer, (01666) 837704 to find out more.
Footpath Apologies
I must apologise for a misleading
report about footpaths in this column. Sheila Greenman is still the
Parish Councillor who is the appointed Public Rights of Way Officer.
She is aided and abetted in this by Peter Mitchell. The
Environmental Department of Wiltshire County Council has advised
Hullavington Parish Council that the thirty footpaths in the parish
will be inspected in November 2009 to ensure that they have been
kept up to standard. Queries about footpath maintenance should be
directed to Paul Millard, the Rights of Way Officer at County Hall
Trowbridge, or if you wish to consult with a Parish Councillor,
contact details are on the Village Website,
www.hullavington.info
Recycling Boxes
The next black recycling box
collection after the inclement weather will be on Monday 23
February. If you have queries about recycling, the black box
helpline is 0845 603 2085. You can also use the website
www.recycleforwiltshire.com to buy discounted food waste
digesters or composters, or find out what happens to the waste sent
for recycling.
