Quiz Night

Don’t miss the Quiz night at the Star Inn on Saturday, at 8pm for 8:30.

WI

Mr and Mrs Bafour spoke about life in Ghana and enlivened their talk with artefacts at Hullavington WI. It was a very edifying afternoon which stimulated a wide range of questions. The competition was won by Lis Cheshire and Sue Fenner. The next meeting, on February 18, will be about Hosting Foreign Students.

The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is coming to Hullavington. If God did exist, what would you ask? You are invited as a guest to an introductory supper on Wednesday 4 February at 7:30 pm at Hullavington Primary School to find out all about it. Hullavington Ramblers

There were many fallen branches in Woodchester Park when 16 walkers and 2 dogs from Hullavington Ramblers took to the footpaths after a windy night. The next walk, from Chippenham to Calne, will be on Sunday 15 February.

Crusade or Jihad?

The WEA are holding a course of 7 weekly meetings at Hullavington Village Hall beginning on Thursday 5 February from 10am to noon. The tutor, John Rogan, will be exploring the causes and consequences of the Crusades. For enquiries or enrolment, contact David Bridge on (01666) 502729
