A Stitch in Time A Stitch in Time sewing sessions are the latest brainchild of Hullavington’s sewing guru Eileen Fry. Eileen, who has been painstakingly creating special outfits, repairing zips and stitching hems for many years, has organised a series of sewing afternoons for like-minded people to share their sewing problems, pick up a few hints, and have an enjoyable afternoon sewing, in the Village Hall, starting on Tuesday 27 January from 2 to 4pm. Ring Eileen on (01666) 838793. WI Christmas Lunch Twenty members of Hullavington WI enjoyed a gastronomic treat for their festive lunch at Jack’s Restaurant at Hartham Park. The committee were congratulated for organising such a pleasurable event. Art Classes A new drawing and painting classes for beginners start on Tuesday 3 February, at 2pm, or on Thursdays from 1 to 2pm. The regular art class continues on Thursdays from 2to 4pm.
