Hullavington Short Mat Bowls group won the Mike Barnes Trophy for the first time in an exciting match against Kington Langley Swallows, with Alexandra Cole playing in only her second match.

Village Voices

The Village Voices choir swelled to over a hundred singers when they joined with Chris Samuel’s other community choirs for a concert last week. New members are welcome for the next practice season, starting at 2pm on Friday 9 January in the Village Hall.

The WI held a party with excellent food and much hilarity for their December meeting. The competition for the best Father Christmas was won by Joan Charlton and Joan Shaw. The new year starts with a talk about Ghana on January 21.
