Great British Tea Party

The Great British Tea Party at Eton House raised £140 to help children in Hospitals and Hospices.

Hullavington Ramblers

The next walk will be on Saturday 27 December. Meet outside The Star Inn for an 11am circular walk of about 6.5 miles from Hullavington to the Neeld Arms at Grittleton and return using some of our best footpaths. Contact Paul on (01666) 837096.
Serendipity Coffee Mornings

October and November coffee mornings at Serendipity raised £600 for Kigesi in Uganda, which has strong links with North Wilts Deanery. Coffee mornings in the New Year will support Dorothy House.

Christmas tree

The Christmas tree has been erected in the Churchyard thanks to Paul Hadley and his team. Saturday’s ceremony of the light illumination included singing from Village Voices and the Junior Choir.

Poetry Group

The next meeting of the Poetry Group will be on January 7 with poems by Kipling, and the creative theme ’Regrets’. Eileen Fry, (01666) 838793 has the details.

Crib Service

There will be a crib service at the Star Inn on Christmas Eve at 4:30pm.

Carols by Candlelight

Mount Zion Church invites the local community to Carols by Candlelight with tea, coffee and mince pies, at the Village Hall on December 21 at 6pm.
