Symphonic Music

The WEA are holding a course entitled “Symphonic Music through the Ages” at Hullavington Village Hall, offering a thumbnail sketch of symphonic music from Baroque to early modern. The 7-week course is on Thursday mornings, from 10am until midday, starting on 9 October. Contact David or Muriel Bridge on (01666) 502729.

Line Dancing

A new season of line dancing is starting at the Village Hall on Mondays at 8pm. Beginners and more experienced dancers are welcome. Tina Fletcher 07749 182355 leads the group.


MacMillan Coffee Morning

The MacMillan Coffee Morning at the Old School on Friday was well supported with over 70 guests. Including the funds raised so far by the Serendipity Coffee drinkers in September, the village has raised almost £560 for cancer care this month.
 

200 Club

Hullavington 200 Club continues to raise valuable funds for the Village Hall. There are still places available for the coming year. The first prize draw will be in the Star Inn at noon on the last Saturday in October, with subsequent monthly draws. John Greenwood (01666) 837227 is the contact if you would like to join in.
