WI
British Cheese was the theme
at Hullavington WI last week, when Mrs Partridge treated the group
to a detailed description of cheese-making processes and regional
differences. Samples of different cheeses provided a taste
experience. The competition for a cheese dish or board was won by
Joan Shaw and Rosemary Mace. The next WI talk, where men are welcome
as guests, will be about the Ladies of the Tower, on 17 September.
Film Club
Hullavington film club met on
the last Wednesday of the month when an appreciative audience
enjoyed the wit of Woody Allen. The next film will be shown on 24
September, (contact Sarah Harmer for details). Don’t forget to
pencil in 19 December, when the club will be showing a very special
film guaranteed to raise the spirits and set your feet tapping on
the Friday evening before Christmas.
Champions Holiday Activity
Hullavington Church was full
