Friday Fitness Classes

There are still spaces available at the Friday morning fitness classes in Hullavington Village Hall, with mixed ability body tone and circuits at 10am, and Tai Chi Fit  at 11.30.  Just turn up at the hall if you are interested in joining in.

The Star Inn

The Star Inn, Hullavington is now being run by Cameron and Sue Scott and Dee and Ken Rodgers. The two couples are longstanding friends, who met at primary school and hail from Melksham.  The kitchen is currently being refurbished, ready to serve bar snacks in about three weeks time, and with a plan to open a restaurant by Christmas or the New Year.  One of the existing skittle alleys is to be converted to the restaurant, opening into the garden, serving tasty traditional English cooking,  Meanwhile the Star is open for liquid refreshment, the beer garden, play area, skittles  and boules.

Weekenders for MS

There will be a grand sale of Weekenders Clothes at Hullavington Village Hall on Thursday 7 August at 7.30pm. If you are a Weekenders fan this will be your last chance to grab a bargain from a range of good quality clothes at up to half price, as the company is now defunct. Three former coordinators, Sue Finney, Maggie Dyson and Jin Cooke are pooling their collections, and will raise money for Multiple Sclerosis with a raffle, and teas.

Parish Council

There will be a meeting of Hullavington Parish Council on Wednesday 13 August at 7:30pm in the Village Hall.

He has asked that people let him know about the activities of their groups for inclusion in the diary, and if there is anyone out there who would like to be involved with the website please contact Paul. To see how he is getting on, take a look at www.hullavington.info
