Breakfast at Tiffuna’s
The
Harfest breakfast on the bank holiday
Saturday was a great success both socially and financially.
“ People enjoyed the conviviality and we
raised £92 towards the Harfest” said hostess
Una McDonald, who thanked those who had
given their help and support.
Hullavington Post
Office
Due to the forthcoming change of status of

closed for a period. In the meantime, the Post Office will be closed for
the mornings of Friday 6 June and Tuesday 17 June.
Christian Aid
Coffee drinkers raised £170 for Christian
Aid at the Coffee Morning at Serendipity during Christian Aid week. All
are welcome every Friday from 10am until noon.
Flower Festival
A flower festival has been planned as part
of the Harfest celebrations week. Flower
arrangements with a theme of Nursery Rhymes will be displayed in church
on 17 September along with an art display and lace. If you would like to
be involved, contact Bev Edge or Edith Cook.
Hullavington
Church
Fete
Hullavington’s Church Fete is at Court house this
Saturday. Come along for the cake and plant stalls, and a hamper raffle.
There will be a tots’ corner and many games, in the beautiful gardens.
Church Window
Dedication
Almost a hundred people gathered together
in Hullavington
Church for a service of celebration and
dedication of a new stained glass window in
Hullavington Church
on Sunday. Bishop Barry Rogerson, who
ordained Rev Audrey Madddock in
1994 conducted the service. Audrey was one of
the first women to be ordained. Geoffrey Maddock,
Audrey’s husband, commissioned the window from the artist Peter Berry as
a memorial for her, and invited the Bishop, family and friends back to
the Star Inn for a buffet lunch after the service.
