Annual Parish Meeting

The annual parish meeting will be held in the Village Hall at 7:30 on Wednesday 23 April, when various village groups will have their chance to report on events in the village. All are welcome.

Church
Clock

Hullavington PCC is inviting contributions towards the repair of our church clock. The projected work will include installing an automatic winding system. If you would like to make a donation, envelopes are available in the Village Shop.

Harfest Cake Stall

Make your way to the Lych Gate at Hullavington Church at 9:30 on Saturday April 19 where this year’s Harfest season kicks off with a cake stall. Come early as the stall is planned to close at 11am, but cakes sell quickly! This is the first in a series of fund-raisers to cover the set-up costs for the third annual autumn arts and music festival. Watch this space for more details.

Incrediboule!

Hullavington is gaining a new continental character this week with the start of the Star Inn’s Boules League. The enigmatic teams, with names such as Boulesheet and British Bouledogs will be facing up to each other in the summer evenings in the Star’s family garden.

Coffee Morning

A coffee morning, from 10am to midday on Tuesday 22 April, at Dovecote Barn in Belfry Drive, will raise funds for Africa.

“Rita’s Quiz”

Brush the cobwebs off your brains, and gather together a team of four to join in the Harfest Quiz in the Village Hall at 7pm on Saturday 26 April. This year’s quiz commemorates the hard work which Rita Croft put into preparing quizzes in the past. If you would like to join in, contact Michael Graves on (01666) 837334 for tickets, which are £5 per person to include supper.
