Music Night Friday 8th Feb. Following their great success last summer, Mt Zion warmly invite you to a further Musical Extravaganza in Hullavington Village Hall starting at 7:30pm. There will be a whole range of different genres of music, from classical to jazz, Choral and band pieces. During the interval there will be a buffet supper. All are welcome. Cheese and Wine evening Anthony and Pauline hope you will join them in celebrating their first year at The Star on Tuesday 12th February from 7:30pm.

Naomi's Yoga class normally meets on Wednesdays in Hullavington Village Hall but for Wednesday 13th Feb it will meet at Grittleton Village hall at 11:30am. This is to make way for an embroidery master class which has the Hullavington hall for that day.

Art Class. The Tuesday evening art class has been cancelled. However, the thriving Thursday afternoon 2-4pm class continues. If you are interested in joining the art class please contact Liz on art@hullavington.info There are numerous works from the art class on display around the village hall if you are interested in seeing them, some are for sale.

Hullavington Ramblers. The next walk is on Feb 24th and will be led by Mark. Full details of the walk will follow shortly. If you would like to join us on one of our walks, you would be very welcome. Our walks vary from short 2 mile summer midweek evening strolls, to 4 to 5 mile morning or afternoon rambles, to 10 mile day hikes. There is also the opportunity to do more demanding hikes in places like the Brecon Beacons and Black mountains. So there is something for everyone. For more information contact Paul on 01666837096 or email mudlark@hullavington.info.

You can also visit us on the village website by going to www.hullavington.info/   clicking on Village Groups and then navigating to Hullavington Ramblers.

WEA course. Following the highly successful day school on archaeology held last October and the 8 week Literary course held in autumn 2007, more courses are planned for Hullavington Village Hall. The first is a day school on Saturday 12th April titled "An Introduction to Looking at Paintings" The course tutor is Dr Jennifer Shepperd. Bookings for this day school are now being taken. Please contact David or Muriel Bridge on 01666502729 or email wea@hullavington.info.

In addition an 8 week course is planned for Thursday mornings in the autumn of 2008. This will most likely be a music/art course titled "Turner and The Music of His Time". A further day school is planned for autumn 2008 titled "Introduction to Chinese Art" which includes ceramics, calligraphy etc. You can view details of these courses by visiting the WEA page on the Hullavington village website www.hullavington.info/  then click on Village Groups and navigate to the WEA page

Village Trip to The Great Dorset Steam Fair. A day out by coach to the Dorset Steam fair is being planned for 2008, if sufficient interest exists. It will be on Saturday 30th August. The cost will depend on the numbers but the price is likely to be around £24 per adult, £18 per child or a special family ticket covering 2 adults and 2 children for £78. This includes the coach travel from Hullavington village and entry to the event itself. At this stage the organizers are just seeking “expressions of interest” from people, and you should be reassured that this does not commit you to actually going on the trip. They are merely ascertaining whether the trip is viable or not. If you do wish to express an interest then please contact Bob Fenner at any time between now and 1st May 2008. You can contact Bob on 01666837320 or preferably by email on steamfair@hullavington.info.

The steam Fair is a great day out with lots going on for all interests and ages. For more visit the Fair's website at www.gdsf.co.uk
