The Christmas Donkey

Crowds of well wrapped villagers, a few shepherds and the Angel Gabriel gathered at the bus shelter on The Street on Christmas Eve to follow the donkey to the Star Inn for the Crib Service. The smoking shelter (Keith) took the role of the stable, and Pauline Hudd starred as the Innkeeper’s wife in an updated version of the nativity Play. The afternoon linked the church and the pub and culminated with mulled wine and mince pies.
 

Careful dog-owners

They say there’s no such thing as a badly-behaved dog, just badly-behaved owners. I’ve been asked to mention that a large dog has been disgracing its owner along The Street, so please either keep it on a lead or follow it with a plastic bag.
