Happy
Caterpillars’ Ball
Parents of
Happy Caterpillars
Pre-School, and of pupae who have been
promoted to the big school, traveled by coach to their Ball at
Grittleton House on 10 November. The evening was thoroughly
enjoyable, and raised over £800. The Happy Caterpillars would like to
thank the Murco garage, Hullavington Garage, the Neeld Arms, the Radnor
Arms, the Whole Hog, the Vine Tree, the Star Inn, Tucks at Sherston and
Anna Durrant Photographer, who kindly donated raffle
prizes. The pre-school are currently looking for a new member of staff
(ideally NVQ2 qualification) to join their team.
Please contact Victoria Castle on 837898 for further details.
Ladies’ Night at the Star Inn.
Ladies who
attended an Ann Summers Evening at the Star Inn on Friday 16 November
helped landlady Pauline Hudd to raise more than £120. The money will go
to help disabled baby, Josseline Tilley, from Westbury, who has Charge
Syndrome and is blind and profoundly deaf. Josseline
needs a walker and specially adapted chair to help her as she grows.
Children in Need
Pat’s
fund-raising effort at the Hullavington Village Shop has raised over
£650 for Children in Need, thanks to all those who generously donated
raffle prizes. Pop into the Shop to find out who won
what!
