Mobile Library
The Mobile Library is in Hullavington this morning. It visits again on Thursday December 15.
Womens' Institute
Members gathered at The Star Inn on November 18 for a demonstration on how to create a beautiful Christmas Hanging basket by Grace Jones. The competition, 'last flower of the year' was won by Beryl Stevenson, with second place going to Rosemary Mace. The next meeting is a Christmas House party on December 21, and will include a competition, the subject of which is 'a Christmas corsage'.
Ramblers
The Malmesbury Crawlk is on Friday December 9. A mix between a walk and a pub crawl. The aim is to have a drink in all 7 of the Malmesbury pubs. The Crawlk is the same day as Malmesbury late night Christmas shopping. There are normally street entertainers and the town's full of life which creates a good atmosphere for the crawlk. Melvyn normally organizes transport so we don't have to drive. This is normally a good night, so if you would like to come please let Melvyn or Paul know asap so that we can book the mini bus and make the arrangements. On Sunday December 11 there is a local circular walk starting from The Star and going across country to Corston and the Radnor Arms for lunch, before returning via a different route back to Hullavington. For those that don't want to do the whole walk, It is possible to do either the moring or afternoon sessions by pre-placing a car in Corston. This years Christmas walk is on Tuesday December 27. Walk off some of that Christmas pudding with a short circular stroll from Hullavington.
