Hullavington Village Website - Additions to The Team

Keeping the village website up-to-date  takes  quite a bit of time and  the time-between-updates can easily drift a bit.  But I now have 2 volunteers who will  be  sharing the work  and we  will be updating the site more regularly.

Maggie Dyson is dealing with "Community News" . As most of you know, Maggie  is our Hullavington village correspondent  for the Gazette & Herald and the Malmesbury Standard. You can find her weekly column in those 2 newspapers, however,  Maggie tells me that the space allotted  by the papers is now being restricted,  which means her articles can get severely crimped.  But there are no space issues on our website, so you can read the full unabridged version here.

Dave Hunt.  is dealing with Village Hall  matters, which  includes the bi-monthly Village hall Reports and the minutes of the Village Hall Committee. Dave also has some innovative ideas for the local history section that I know you will all  enjoy. Many of you will already have read his excellent  articles on  "Private Idle & A Visit To The Somme battlefields" and "The Railway and Hullavington School"

You too can help us  make the site more informative, current and interesting by keeping us informed of what's going on ... like dates for the diary section,  village group activities, articles  on subjects such as local history, local wild life,  memories of Hullavington, or anything else.  Also if you have any ideas for the website, like areas, topics or groups we are not  currently covering, then  please let us have them
