RESULTS OF NWDC  ELECTIONS
 HELD ON 3 May 2007

Howard Greenman, of The Parklands Hullavington,  gained a huge majority of the popular vote and was elected as our new NWDC councillor

Howard won 834 of the votes cast against 186  for the Lib Dem candidate.

NWDC Results:
Conservatives 39
Lib  Dems      14
Lab                 1

Conservatives  now have a majority on NWDC with  39 seats against 14 for the Lib Dems and 1 for Labour

Before the May 2007 elections, the  council was run by the Lib Dems in alliance with the  Independents, with seats as follows:
Conservatives 23,
Lib Dems       22,
Lab                 1,
UKIP               1
Independents   7.
