Hi,
We
want you to take part in Nestwatch 2005
We are conducting an online survey in the last week of May to help us
learn more about the birds breeding in your gardens.
We know from our
annual Big Garden Birdwatch how important our gardens are for birds during
the winter - providing shelter and food during the coldest part of the
year. Our gardens can also provide ideal conditions for birds during the
breeding season. With your help we can discover more about the needs of
these familiar birds during this crucial time.
How
do I take part?
It's simple. All you need to do is:
-
look for common birds
and signs of breeding activity in your garden from 21 to 30 May (we'll
give you a list of things to look out for)
-
record sightings and
details of nest locations (if you know them)
-
go online to submit
your results
You can spend as
much or as little time looking as you can spare between the 21 and 30 May.

and detailed instructions, please click the link below. You can also
download a recording sheet to help you record your results.
