I had no idea where Jasmine cottage was, but luckily Dave Hunt, Mary
Greenman and Trevor Redman did. The history of it is interesting as it
looked like this up until fairly recently and was home to Bert Greenman
who lived there with his mother until she died and then on his own
until a fire badly damaged the place and Bert ended up in a home
in Malmesbury. |

Ken then sent this photo below titled
"Four Generations" with the following request for information.
Hi Paul
First thanks
for the Photograph (Jasmine Cottage as it is today). Now the photograph
and who are they. Take a look at the photograph I sent you headed "Back row Frederick Angel Greenman" Four
Generations , its the same family, where it was taken I don't know, its how it
was sent to me, would somebody in the Village know where they lived. It would be
good to know, when it was taken.
Look at the photograph of the "Four
Generations", I sent you and the old lady on the right is Mirium Charlotte
Andrews Fry b 1844, on both photographs they look about the same age. It says
the little boy Ronald Lane was b 1916, and by the look of him he was about 6
or 7 which would put the photograph as taken about 1910, which I would say would
be about the same time as the one you want to know about, Hope that helps ??
Ken

Greenman 1842 and mother of Hannah). The little chap at the front is Ronald Lane
abt 1916, son of Alice."
