Hullavington Christmas Market 2006
in The Village Hall
Maggie Dyson, one of the organisers of the event
along with Photographer Anne Durrant, said the Christmas
market was a success for the small businesses taking part and they were
all pleased with how it went. What's more they raised £196 from the
raffle which has been donated to the village hall fund and the WI made a
further £91-24 p from refreshments and the soup kitchen. In fact they ran
out of soup and could have sold even more.
There was a good turnout from the village and many
stayed far longer than they originally intended as they were too busy browsing
and socializing in the cafe area with tea & coffee plus Nicks
pastries. What a wonderful event it was. Well done Maggie & Anne and
all the small businesses for making the event so enjoyable.

I noticed the art class still have Christmas cards for sale at 50p each
and have added 3 new ones to the selection. Trouble is we tend to buy one of
each and then keep them. You can view them by clicking
