Memories Of Hullavington:The aim of this section of the web site is to capture memories of Hullavington. It is important to do this whilst we can as they are an important part of our social history that is all so easily lost. So please, if anyone else would like to contribute, let's hear from you. Does anyone have memories of the carnival that was so active and popular in the village not so long ago, or war time life in the village, or the coronation, or life on the camp, or on operations; also does anyone have any old photos. Although both Marjorie Dolman and Earnest Gough are dead, their memories live on through those of us who read their words, which take us back over 100 years. Margret South's memories of the old village hall make provide such a fascinating contrast with our new village hall and is really topical at the moment what with the official opening of our new hall taking place this week. Ron Bye's memories and his photos provide a rich and vivid picture of the transition from boyhood to manhood in the village.
