Meet::
The NT Woodchester car. See map bellow (parking
is £1 but free for NT members)
Start Time: 11 am start.
Distance: There are 3 walks:
My intention
is to go for the longer walk, but each of the above walks is colour coded, very
well marked and easy to follow, so if anyone wanted to do the shorter walks they
can easily do so on their own.
Directions to The Start (Also see map below) )The map below shows the shortest route from Hullavington, but you can also go via Tetbury and then take the A 3145 towards Dursley. If you do this, look out for the large pub on the left (The Hunters Hall). You’ll need to take the next road on the right to Nympsfield, then just keep following the signs to Nympsfield. If you are going to the Rose & Crown, you’ll need to go into Nympsfield itself. If you are going straight to Woodchester car park, then I would advise that you do not go through Nympsfield but carry on through Cockadilly until you come to the B4066. Turn right and within 100 metres you’ll see the first of three signs directing you to Woodchester Park. For some reason, the signs are only visible when you approach from this direction. If you are coming from the village of Nympsfield there are no signs visible. Click HERE for printable map of directions.
