SHORT MID-WEEK EVENING STROLL AROUND KINGTON LANGLEY
Wednesday 7th June
Dear All
Summer has arrived, the evenings are long and this Wednesday 7 June is the
first of our short , mid-week, evening strolls
The 5 day weather forecast for Wednesday is warm and sunny .. Check it out on
the following link
http://uk.weather.com/weather/detail/UKXX1715?dayNum=5
The walk had been advertised as from Hullavington itself, but Linda & me
thought it would be good to try something new. So the walk is from the Hit &
Miss at Kington Langley. It's about 2 miles, no mud, no inclines and the pub
ain't bad either doing reasonable food if anyone wanted to eat.
Meet around by the Hit & Miss (see directions below) for a 7:30pm start
Directions to the Hit & Miss.
At junction 17 take road to Chippenham . Then take the first left after
about 400 metres into Days Lane. Follow Days Lane, ignore a fork on the right
after about 2 kms and the Hit & Miss is about 300 Metres further on. There
is no car park as such , but there is space to park around by the pub. If
you miss Days Lane, don't worry, just continue along the road until you hit the
traffic lights, turn left along Plough Lane continue across the Kington Langley
Commons then take the lane on the left just before the Church which brings
you to the Hit & Miss.
If you need more info please contact me on 837096
If you're running late on the day, but still want to do the walk, then give
me a call on my mobile (07811141921) and we can hang on a few minutes
for you
Hope to see you on Wednesday
