Commemorative Walk Sunday 7th Oct Bath to Bradford on Avon along The Kennet & Avon Canal
There is little doubt that the Bath to Bradford on Avon section of the whole route contains the best scenery and is, therefore, one of the main reasons we chose this section of the walk as the first of the 2 commemorative walks to celebrate our 10 years of rambling. It also scores highly for other reasons: being a tow path it has a good walking surface, is flat and we can't get lost. The plan is to muster in the station car park at Bradford on Avon at 11:00am to catch the 11:10am train to Bath. The route is just under 9 miles, but they are such flat miles you'll hardly notice them There are plenty of places for us to take lunch along the route and I'll post this info nearer the day. We are trying to contact all those who have ever walked with us over the past 10 years in the hope that they will be able to join us for what was probably one of our finest walks. We hope to see you on Sunday 7th Oct For more information email mudlark@hullavington.info or contact Paul on 01666 837096.
