Sunday 20 April

Walk up and around Cherhill, with its famous White horse and monument.  Organised by Keith Collins . If the weather is good , the views are stunning with a 360'  vista.

Update 18 April from walk leader Keith Collins

Sundays walk meet at the Black Horse pub on the A4 @ Cherhill  10.30am

Walked the walk tonight ;  it was beautiful !

Distance -- approx 5 - 6 miles  = 2.5 -3 hours around the Cherhill monument

The paths were bone dry, but I cannot be held accountable for any precipitation that falls between now and Sunday

All the cows were safely tucked up in their own fields

Elevation  -- bit of upping and also a bit of downing but nothing to concern you !

Views  -- the walk is quite exposed so the views are brill, but if it's windy, wear suitable protection

Black Horse -- plenty of choice of food although it gets busy

Hope you can join us.
