Report from November 2006 Meeting

We were very thin on the ground, other engagements and illness, being the reasons for absence; nevertheless we were very upbeat, and absent members had sent in their poems on 'warmth', which we hope to publish here soon.

We decided that December 13th meeting we would be discussing/dissecting? William Blake, and the theme would be 'sky'. Some members have already started writing theirs !

On a personal note, I will be entering the Poetry Slam at the Fizz Bar, The Bridge, Chippenham, at 7.30 pm on November 30th (Thursday), which is part of the Chippenham Festival programme. I've already received 2 commendations for 2 poems entered in the 'write' competition, for the same festival, not bad considering I entered 3!
