27th Apr 07 Hullavington Ramblers Walk on Sunday 29th Apr.
A short (4 miles)  circular walk for Spring from the outskirts of Malmesbury along the valley  of the Tetbury Avon towards Brokenborough and then back down the other wide  of the valley. A little over four miles in total, with lots of fresh spring
growth and happily singing skylarks to distract you as you go.....(MORE)

QUIZ to Support HarFest 2007.      
QUIZ NIGHT Saturday 28th Apr in aid of HarFest 2007 ..
You will all no doubt remember the hugely successful  Hullavington Musical festival  - HarFest 2006 and how 5 of the  the 9 events played to full houses, well  it's good news in that there is to be a HarFest 2007 in September.  The organizers are raising funds  to finance it and are putting on a Quiz this Saturday  to help raise money.  If you are able to support the Quiz  please do so, it should be good fun and in a very good cause.   Click (HERE ) for details

13 Apr 07 Hullavington Parish Council  has arranged for a  village clean up day  on Saturday 19th May.  Please met at the Queens Head bus shelter at 10:00am,  where you can collect waste bags and gloves. 12 Apr 07 Parish Council - Elections. Sadly only 6 people put their names forward to stand for the parish council. From the outgoing PC, Messrs: Fenner, Hadley and Redman will not stand again.

 Existing parish councillors: Bawden,  Gough, Greenman, Haffenden & Harmer are standing and one newcomer: Maggie Dyson, has also stood.  This means they will all be elected unopposed, there will be no PC election and you get no choice. 

There are 3 unfilled seats, which the PC  can fill by  co-option and you have no choice in that selection

Limerick Competition - 50 entries. The judging  took place a couple of days back and the winner was Rita Croft. Well done Rita.  Eileen Fry has sent me a report and the winning entry which I will put up very soon..

1 Apr 07 How observant are you?  There are two pictures identical to each other; you have to find three differences. If you can find three differences, then you are part of an elite group of individuals.

1 Apr 07 Wow. What a response.   Eileen Fry  told me she has received over 50    entries for the  Limerick Competition.  The standard was high and the judging will be difficult.  Watch this space for further news

31 Mar 07  Nice to See our local Bobby (Richard Warren and his mate) patrolling the village last night. We said, if he would  give us a blast of his siren, we  would we buy tickets for  the Policeman's Ball. We  settled for a flash of his blue lights and  sorting the parking if we would but tickets for  the play what he is staring in (see below)

Does Your Village Group Need  a Small Grant ? If you do you may be in luck because grants are available from £50 - £300 from the "Community Kitty"    The Kitty comes from the money made from community websites  and is for village activity groups.  I believe the process is fairly simple and straightforward.
