Woof Woof
Seeing all those dog owners at the at the dog show last
Saturday, I thought it would be good to get a pet. But I didn't want to have
to walk it in the dark raining evenings, or have to spend a fortune in vet
bills, or pay out for kennelling etc. So I got one of these. It's real

Neighbourhood
Watch News Letter July/Aug 08. Contains a message from
Sergeant Martin Alvis who is the new Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant for
the area, also the crime figures for Hullavington and neighbouring
villages. I see another cat has gone missing. Maybe it's that big dog
fox I've seen around. I know from talking to small live stock breeders
in the village that they are losing a lot of stock to it. It even took
out two geese a few days back. But I think it's days are numbered. Click

Hullavington Dog Show - 6th
Sept. This year, in conjunction with Hullavington Village
Show, a dog show is also planned during the morning at The Star Inn, who
along with Walt Dog Talk Dog, are sponsoring the event. There are 8 Novelty
Classes and 2 obedience classes, with 3 special trophies for
Hullavington entrants only; these will be presented at the
Hullavington Show awards ceremony later in the day. So why not dust down
that old dog and enter it in the show. When Cameron, our new
landlord at the Star, read the show details, he fell about the floor
laughing saying we could be arrested. But Robin from Walk Dog Talk Dog
assured me it was all legitimate dog speak. So, woof woof.

".....Do you own a property? Christine has a flat in London, which has
always been hers, and we also have a house in Wiltshire which we bought
about three years ago. It is a medieval manor house. It could have nine or
ten bedrooms, but we use some as dressing rooms and offices. We bought some
nearby 18th-century barns and buildings as a separate lot. We bought it for
£1.5m in total. It’s probably worth £1.8m. ..."

New Fitness Class starts in Hullavington Village Hall on Tuesday May 6th
, 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This is a low impact fitness class run
by Andy who is a fully qualified fitness trainer. He
will take over the village hall on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 until
10:30pm where he plans to run different types of
fitness classes tailored to suit whatever demand there is in the
village. This can include low impact, the more intense aerobic levels,
circuit training or even low intensity exercise for those with
restricted movement. He can provide a personal fitness instruction.
His first objective is to provide an exercise class to fill the
exercise gap left for when The Rosemary Conley class abandons
Hullavington. I believe Andy plans to a fitness routine
not too dissimilar to that of Lyn's low impact Body Skulpture class
that we had before Rosemary Conley. But as said above he will
tailor the class to suit the requirement
He is also looking at taking a Friday morning session too. The
full details will be published shortly . Watch this space.
