DISTRACTION burglars struck at the home
of an elderly woman in Chippenham when they claimed to be from the water

Wildlife in and around the village.
We've
received a suggestion that it might be interesting to log the birds,
mammals, reptiles, butterflies etc that we see in our gardens . It sounds
like a good idea to me so please let us know the types of birds etc
you get visiting you gardens. Also if you get any photos please let us have
them too. In anticipation, I've started a
separate wildlife page were we can
record it all..

Film Club is happy to announce
that
we have obtained a licence for a childrens'
Christmas Show. This will be held early evening on
Wednesday 20th December. The film will be Eight
Below - about a team of husky dogs. All children,
not just the Film Club members' children, are
welcome but they must be accompanied by a
responsible adult. The cost will be £1 per child
for refreshments but adults will be free. The Hall will open at 5.00p.m. and the film will start at 5.30 prompt. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact any member of the Committee. |
