We have had the following request for help from Ken Greenman:  "I would like to know if anybody in Hullavington has any photographs of Ambrose P Greenman, b 1852 and died 1927, he was my Great Grandfather who I only found out about several years ago and would be nice to see what he looked like and add a copy to my family history." This might interest  those that take an interest in wildlife. It is not specifically about Hullavington but  at Oaksey it's  close enough. Whatever happened to the wildlife group that was set up  in the village a few years back. Con men strike at pensioner's home. DISTRACTION burglars struck at the home of an elderly woman in Chippenham when they claimed to be from the water board. 29 Jan 07 Wildlife in and around the village. We've received  a suggestion that it might be interesting to log the birds, mammals, reptiles, butterflies etc that we see in our gardens . It sounds like a good idea to me so please let us know the types of birds etc  you get visiting you gardens. Also if you get any photos please let us have them too. In anticipation, I've started a separate wildlife page were we can record it all..  Contact us

Theses first appeared some years back as articles in the Hullavington News, but this time we have Mary's photo's to embellish it all.  There is more to come, it is just taking time to process the information and photos.  There is some good stuff here and it is important to capture it all.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I have  and I also hope you may be able to add to  this record of our village social history. 24 Dec 06 Jolly Tots Held their Christmas Party on Tuesday.  Following a highly successful  start up, the Jolly Tots celebrated their  first Christmas with a party  last Tuesday.  They had  a lot of fun  and  the Tots even invited their  families along. 13 Dec 06 The Film Club is happy to announce that we have obtained a licence for a childrens' Christmas Show.   This will be held early evening on Wednesday 20th December.   The film will be Eight Below - about a team of husky dogs.    All children, not just the Film Club members' children, are welcome but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.   The cost will be £1 per child for refreshments but adults will be free.
The Hall will open at 5.00p.m. and the film will start at 5.30 prompt.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact any member of the Committee.
