Report on The Hullavington Village Hall
Quiz Night
Held on Saturday 27th Jan
The Quiz Night was a great
success and enjoyed by everyone. There was a large turnout of around 70
people making up 16 teams. Geordie Stevenson and Bob Fenner
set the questions and were the question masters on the night. The winning
team comprised Keith & Bev Collins, David & Janet Jones and John
Greenwood. They were convincing winners with clear blue water between them
and the chasing pack. Well done to them and well done and thank you to the
organisers:

The event was to have fun and at the same time raise money for the Hullavington
News. Below are a few words from Bob Fenner
Dear Friends,
Just a note to say a big thank you
for all the support and help that was given to make the Village Quiz
organised by the hall management committee on 27th January such a success.
We are particularly grateful to those who helped set up and clear away after
the event, for the many items generously donated as raffle prizes, and to
those who came along as part of a team.
The event was a financial success as
well. After deduction of expenses we will be able to make a donation of
£120.00 to The Hullavington News.
