Report & Photos from HarFest 2007
HarFest 2007 Programme
The huge success of HarFest 2006 must have presented a daunting
benchmark for the organisers of this year's event to measure
themselves against. And so soon after before memories have had
time to fade a little and soften the the sharp edges of that success.
But they did it in some style, with many events playing to a full
house. It was good to see the addition of new ideas and
events to the programme, like the Tea Dance & Verse & Worse. Poetry is
not really for me, but I really enjoyed it.
I was especially enjoyed Rock of Life Band who, I believe,
have gone up a level. And the HarFest Band did it again with people
rocking in the aisles and yelling for more.
It was also good to see Pauline and Anthony at The Star Inn playing such
a full part in hosting events and feeding us all during Star Turns.
I would like to thank the organisers and perfomers for
a wonderful festival and for creating the stage for us all to enjoy
our village's considerable talent. You have every right to feel very
proud of yourselves. Well done.
