Best Kept Village Competition 2005
Village Clean up Day

In the village survey conducted last year:

• 82% were in favour of Hullavington entering the Best Kept Village competition

And

• 75% were willing to take part in a village clean up day to spruce up the village in readiness for the competition.

Now is your opportunity to do it.

If you can spare some time on any of these days please contact one of you parish councillors or the parish clerk so that the clean up work can be organised:

• Saturday 30th April
• Sunday 1st May
• Monday 2nd May

Even if you can only do an hour or so of light work, it all helps and we need you.  Hullavington did win the Best Kept Village award a few years back and if we get ourselves organised we can do so again. If we win, there is prize money for spending on village improvement projects, so not only does it get the village tidied up, we get some funding too.  The judging takes place during the period late May to Mid July.
