Action Report from last meeting

(i)                   Speeding Traffic – Update from the Chairman

(ii)                 Abandoned Bus – Update from Councillor Bawden

(iii)                Shrub planting inside Cemetery gates – A letter has been forwarded to Mrs Acott in support of the shrubs suggested

(iv)                Fencing on the Green – A letter was sent to the W I requesting that this be carried out ASAP.  Now Constructed

(v)                  Spring Cleanup – Dates confirmed 22nd & 23rd April.  Black bags to be dropped off at No. 8 The Street and full bags to be picked up at the old bus shelter.

(vi)                Condolence letter – Sent to Mr Maddock

(vii)               Grant, Hullavington News – Grant of £150 has been sent with an explanatory letter to the Hullavington News.

(viii)             Pot Holes - Reported

(ix)               Bench on the Green – Update from the Chairman and consideration of quotations.

a)       06/00662/FUL – Single storey rear extension, rear conservatory, detached summer house and pitched roofs over existing garage and rear extension at 2 Parklands, Hullavington – The Planning Sub-Group have SUPPORTED this application but with reservations regarding the Summer House.

b)       06/00732/FUL – Mobile Classroom for pre-school use at Hullavington C E Primary School – Comments awaited

c)       06/00703/FUL – Erection of first floor extension and detached garage (revision of 05.02723.FUL) at 41 Newton, Hullavington – Comments awaited

  • Appeal Notice – To consider an appeal in respect of the refusal of a planning application for variation of condition 1 of planning permission N.77.0482.F dated 5.9.77 to allow continued occupation of dwelling by the applicant Mrs H P Ralton – Comments to the Inspectorate before 27th April 2006. (HPC were in support of this application)

c)       To consider a request from the WI to be reimbursed for the cost of the fence around the garden on the green

  • Defra – Clean Neighbourhoods & Environment Act 2005.  The Parish Council is to consider whether or not they with to issue Fixed Penalty Notices for offences such as littering, graffiti, fly posting and dog fouling.
